St. Ann’s Italian Festival in Hoboken
Mark your calendar for one of the most anticipated events of the year; the 108th Annual Saint Ann’s Italian Festival held on Saturday July 21st-26th. You’ll find everything from sausage and pepper sandwiches to fried raviolis and of course…St. Ann’s famous Zeppoles! This will be a non-stop food fest, so make sure to come hungry. There will also be live entertainment nightly at 8:30pm (on the main stage across from the church) along with a beer garden. Here are a few of our favorite vendors from last year:
MozzArepas – An Arepa is a corn pancake, sweetened or unsweetened, eaten in Venezuela and Colombia. Put a delicious piece of mozzarella in-between it and you have a MozzArepa! This tasty treat has been a favorite in Hoboken and Jersey City since the 1980’s. They also sell delicious all-natural fruit juices by CASA FRESCA JUICE CO. which is the perfect drink to compliment your crunchy, cheesy and savory mozzArepa.
Coney Island Pizza – This mobile brick oven pizza company is a crowd pleaser at all events in northern New Jersey. We love their famous pepperoni pizza, but they also have signature pies such as chicken caprese, chicken buffalo pie, meatball impastata and pistachio pesto.
Shaka Bowl – If you’re looking for something on the healthier side this year, head over to Shaka Bowl! They offer acai bowls, dairy free and plant-based smoothies, savory bowl options and added some delicious new sides to their menu. They also have a location just a few minutes away from your Bexley apartment!
