New Hotspots in Hoboken

This weekend, October 13th and 14th, is the perfect time to check out two new hotspots in Hoboken.  The sun will be out and there will be a nice breeze, making it the perfect fall weather!

Located at 77 Hudson Street, The Pig and Parrot (the old Hotel Victor) has already become a popular establishment with locals.  It’s a great place to watch football while enjoying the laid back Key West ambiance.  They also have a bar area called the Smallest Bar, which rivals the original one in Key West.  Some of their tropical drinks include the rum runner, daiquiris and key lime pie martinis.  On their food menu you’ll find grouper, steak, coconut shrimp, fried green tomatoes and rice bowls.  This is located right across from the PATH station, so if you’re looking for a delicious margarita after work, look no further! They also have outdoor seating available.

A new restaurant is coming to Hoboken and although we love all the authentic Italian food around the Bexley, we’re happy to hear that soon we will be able to indulge in delicious Persian food.  If you enjoy chicken and beef kabobs, rich stews, rice dishes and other comfort food to warm you up when it gets colder, you’re in luck! The name of the restaurant is Seven Valleys which is named after a book about the journey of the soul.  The owner is also a born-and-raised Hoboken resident, so she knows first-hand that this restaurant will be a unique dining experience.  The restaurant will have a warm and welcoming vibe and is just a 10 minute walk from your Bexley apartment.
